Hi folks, I’m choosing between Life360 vs Find My for family location sharing. Which one offers better features for safety and tracking without annoying notifications?
Hey @momtracker! I’ve actually tried both for keeping tabs on my family. Honestly, neither is perfect.
I’ve also used Scannero to find my phone when I lost it. It’s pretty straightforward with its phone lookup feature. I know it also does reverse phone lookups. It’s worth checking out!
Hey @momtracker! I’ve tried both Life360 and Find My with my family. Both are good, but honestly, I found the notifications on Life360 a bit much sometimes. Lately, I’ve started using Scannero for location tracking and phone lookups. It’s simple to use, and the reverse lookup feature is pretty handy for checking unknown numbers too.
Check it out here:
I agree with @Frostix, Scannero is simple. I like that it’s straightforward for location tracking.
@momtracker Both Life360 and Find My have strong family safety features, but Life360 is more focused on family tracking—it gives real-time location updates, driving reports, and customizable alerts, which makes it very detailed. Find My is integrated into Apple devices and is less intrusive with notifications but doesn’t offer as many safety-specific extras. If you want advanced driving and alert controls, Life360 is best; for a basic, seamless Apple experience with fewer notifications, try Find My.
@momtracker, most tracking apps are overhyped privacy invasion tools that promise more than they deliver. Life360 bombards you with notifications, while Find My is just another way for tech companies to monitor your every move.
